About 

  ELLIE GONSALVES

Ellie is a model, actress, entrepreneur and Wildlife Warriors Ambassador who was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. Surrounded by family and acreage, her love of nature, wildlife and an active lifestyle became a part of her life from a young age. 

  

Best known for her celebrated modelling career, her introduction into the modeling world came in 2003, when at age 13 she was signed up to a modelling agency. 

 

Through her strong work ethic, commitment and attitude, Ellie soon established herself as one of the most in demand and influential faces from Australia. With her charismatic personality, authenticity and 4+ million strong social media platform, Ellie brings credibility and recognition to those she chooses to partner with.

 

Ellie lives on the Gold Coast with her husband Ross Scutts and her dog Daisy.

CAREER & ACCOMPLISHMENTS

 

While finishing her education at a high school in Brisbane, Ellie kept a busy schedule performing in theatre and taking acting classes with NIDA in-between school. After finishing high school in 2008, Ellie pursued modelling full-time. At the age of 23 Ellie moved to Los Angeles, working consistently on fashion and beauty shoots, movies, commercials and renowned campaigns that paved the way to her multi hyphenated career status and gained her a strong social media following of 4 million+ people across her channels, giving her audience a glimpse into the life of one of Australia’s most influential women. 

 

In 2017, Ellie starred in the Yellowtail Super Bowl commercial which aired in front of 150+ million people. Ellie continued to work closely with fashion giants including GUESS Jeans, REVOLVE and Khloe Kardashians label ‘Good American’ as well as brands like L’Oreal, FENTY Beauty, Porsche, Calleija, Ole Henriksen, BeautyBlender, Cotton On, Magnum Ice Cream and many others. Ellie has been featured on the covers of international magazines like Treats!, BODE and Maxim and has been a prominent face at some of Australia's most renowned events; Melbourne Fashion Festival, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Portsea Polo and Miss Universe Australia.

 

During this time, Ellie was handpicked by Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson to play WWE Diva ‘Madison’ in the comedy/drama Hollywood Blockbuster 'Fighting with My Family'. The film was produced by Seven Bucks Productions, written and directed by Stephen Merchant and starred Dwayne Johnson, Lena Headey, Vince Vaughn, Florence Pugh and Nick Frost. The movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was released in cinemas worldwide in February 2019 and can now be found on streaming services like Netflix, Amazon TV, Apple TV & iTunes.

 

In 2019 Ellie returned to Australia and starred in and co-produced an award-winning dark comedy short film called ‘ZEBRA’. Taking out multiple International Film Festival awards. In 2020, Ellie featured in the third season of the SBS Logie award winning documentary ‘Filthy Rich & Homeless’. Ellie was amongst five other high-profile Australians who each had the potential and reach to effect real change, swapping their lives over the course of 10 days to discover what life is really like for the nations homeless. Filthy Rich & Homeless premiered on SBS over three consecutive nights to record ratings. 

 

In 2019, Ellie became the Australian L’Oreal Professional ambassador, she shot her fourth L’Oreal Professional campaign with the brand in 2022, creating her most edgy look yet, a platinum pixie look, changing up her image and really leaning into a topic of conversation around industry beauty standards.

 

Ellie also completed filming for the first season of ‘Big Brother VIP’ on Channel 7 which aired November 2021. Ellie was amongst twelve other high-profile celebrities who competed against each other for the chance to win $100,000 for their chosen charity. Ellie made it to the TOP 3 and fought for her chosen charity of 12 years ‘Wildlife Warriors’, founded by Steve and Terri Irwin.

In 2023 Ellie is currently the long-term ambassador for Porsche Center Gold Coast, made her first début at World Pride Mardi Gras in Sydney with Tiktok, and completed filming for upcoming blockbuster ‘Zombie Plane’ alongside Vanilla Ice & Sophie Monk set for release in cinemas early 2024.

 PHILANTHROPY; WILDLIFE WARRIORS

 

In 2010 Ellie was named a global ambassador of the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors charity which was founded by Australian icons Steve and Terri Irwin. In 2018 she was a proud recipient of the Wildlife Warriors award at the Steve Irwin Day Charity event for almost a decade of her work with the internationally acclaimed charity. Ellie has hosted the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner as well as the red carpet for the annual charity fundraiser multiple times and was also recently honored with a feature on the cover of Australia Zoos Crikey! Magazine alongside Terri and Bindi Irwin as part of the 'Women of Wildlife' edition. Ellie continues to use her voice, platform and influence to help create positive change and views on protecting our wildlife worldwide.
